CABAL 角色设计赛
总值180万令吉
林国荣创意科技大学奖学金待赢取
参赛规则：
1. 比赛公开给所有《南洋商报》与《中国报》读者参加，惟有《南洋商报》与主办
单位属下职员及直属一律不得参加。比赛将分为两组：
i. 18岁以下
ii. 18岁以上
2. 参赛者必须据实，清楚填写中英文姓名，身份证号码，联络电话，年龄，

地址，电邮与就读学府。资料模糊，不完整，虚报或与身份证不符合者，
参赛资格将被取消。
3. 参赛作品必须在2009年12月9日前寄到《南洋商报业务发展部》
参赛作品：
1. 所完成作品必须在A4纸张尺寸内，上下左右都必须空出2厘米。
2. 主办单位可接受电脑绘图或传统绘图，详情如以下：
i. 电脑绘图：设计图必须存成jpeg档及tif档，
3. 参赛作品数量不限。惟中奖机会只有一次。
4. 如作品有任何损坏，恕主办单位不负责。
5. 主办单位有权保留或对外展出所有参赛作品。
6. 参赛作品必须是原创作品和抄袭作品一皆不受理，
7. 参赛作品不可充作商业用途。
8. 评审团由南洋商报，林国荣大学及Asiasoft的代表担任。
比赛奖品：
1．由林国荣大学所赞助的奖学金。
2．奖学金不能兑换现金或转让他人。
3．得奖者可自由选择林国荣大学的任何科系，条件为三个优等或以上。
4．得奖名单将于2009年12月14日在《南洋商报》公布。
5．奖品将于2009南洋教育展上移交给得奖者。
6．主办单位保留更改奖品的权利。

Participants
This competition is open to all Malaysian under the two age categories below

The organizers, employees and relatives of the organizers are not eligible to enter this competition.
All submissions must reach the given address No.1, SS7/2, 47301 Petaling Jaya, Selangor and attn to Nanyang Siang Pau operation development department by 9th December 2009
Late submission will not be entertained
The organizers need not to compensate any loss to the participants or responsible with any legal issues. The organizer has the final decision, any inquiry will not be entertained.
Artwork
The art work has to be within A4 size, with 2cm border each at height and width.

Digitally Drawn – Image must be at least 300dpi and submitted as 1 copy of tiff and jpeg file each
Traditionally drawn -- The artwork needed to be color with the following coloring medium – wood color, water color or marker color.
There is no limit of how many artworks submitted but only 1 will be selected.
You are encouraged to create art that can relate and adapt to the cabal theme and artistic style. For more information please refer to www.cabalsea.com
The organizers are not responsible for any damage to the artwork during the transportation/delivery of the artwork.
The Organizer has the rights to use the submitted works for exhibition and promotion purposes
The judges are formed by representatives from 3 parties (LUCT, Nanyang and Asiasoft) and shall have the final say
All entries are to be of original creation. Plagiarism will not be tolerated, usage of references is allowed, but must be stated.
All art work submitted cannot be used for commercial use by the participant
Participants are not allowed to submit entries that have been used for other purposes (competition, work, advertising, etc). Participants should note that, in the above scenario the organizers are not liable for any copy right issues that may occur under those circumstances.
Prize
1. Scholarships are in the form of school fees
2. Scholarships cannot be converted into cash or transferable
3. Winner can choose any courses in LUCT, provided at least minimum 3 credits for Diploma courses and 5 credits for Degree courses in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM)
4. Winner will be announced by 14th December 2009 in Nanyang InfoNet
5. Prizes will be given away during Nanyang Education Fair
6. The organizers have the rights to change the stated prizes.
